Just10Minutes
Just10Minutes is a powerful task manager/todo list manager that radically improves your native BlackBerry task application. Based on the powerful procrastination hack (10+2)*5, Just10Minutes is an easy way to capture, organize and complete important tasks, while offering a stylish, yet unique user interface.
Stop Procrastination and Boost Productivity
If you find it difficult to get started on a task or can’t seem to focus on a project for an extended period of time, then this productivity management application will kill your procrastination. Just10Minutes is based on the idea that you get much more done if you work in bursts and then take short breaks. If you repeat this pattern, your task will be completed in no time and on time. Of course you can also set individual times for work and break mode.
More about the (10+2) * 5 concept
Just10Minutes is based on a procrastination hack developed by Merlin Mann with the aim to work on a task in small batches. From his website
It’s called “(10+2)*5” and here’s why:
10 – Work for ten minutes with single-minded focus on moving toward completion on a single task. Ten minutes, and that’s all you’re allowed to do is work, work, work. No cheating, because (DING!) you actually get a break when you’re done…
2 – After ten minutes of sweaty, dedicated work you get a 2-minute break to do whatever you want—drink coffee, read 5ives, call your bookie, whatever. When the two minutes are up, it’s back to work on the next task on your list. This is important.
*5 – You’re going to iterate this four more times for a total of one hour’s working/breaking

The Pomodoro Technique in Action
Another concept that is following this idea to work in spurts is called the Pomodoro Technique. It works like this:
The basic unit of work in the Pomodoro Technique™ can be split in five simple steps:
1. Choose a task to be accomplished
2. Set the Pomodoro to 25 minutes (the Pomodoro is the timer) in our case it is Just10Minutes
3. Work on the task until the Pomodoro rings, then put a check on your sheet of paper
4. Take a short break (5 minutes is OK)
5. Every 4 Pomodoros take a longer break
Of course you can follow the principles of the Pomodoro Technique also with Just10Minutes. All you have to do is increase the timer to 25 minutes and you are ready to go.
